Of interest today is the announcement of Saturday, October 7th as the date for
the marriage of Marilyn June Moore, daughter of Mrs. William Todd Morre to
Harry H. Marshall, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry H. Marshall, 3520 French St.
The wedding will take place in the First Presbyterian Church of Wilkinsburg.
Miss Moore is a member of the nursing staff at Presbyterian Hospital in
Pittsburgh and Mr. Marshall is a graduate of Academy High School and Allegheny
College. He is a member of the Philharmonic Orchestra and is employed by the

The First Presbyterian Church, of Wilkinsburg, Pa. was the scene Saturday,
Oct. 7, of the marriage of Miss Marolyn Moore and Harry Marshall, Jr. Dr.
James Speer officiated at the rite.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. William Todd Moore, of Wilkinsbufg, and
the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry H. Marshall, Sr., of 3520 French
St.
The former Miss Moore wore a gown of white satin and lace that was styled
with long sleeves and a full train. A juliet cap of lace and seed pearls held
in place her fingertip weil and she carried a white Bible adorned with an
orchid.
Miss Joyce Moore, maid of honor, wore a blue brocade gown and she carried a
bouquet of red dahlias.
James Reetz accompanied the groom as best man, and Charles Clark, of
Tyrone, Pa., ushered.
Dick Hartung, organist, accompanied Herbert Kent, soloist, who rendered,
"Oh, Promise Me," and "The Lord's Prayer."
Following the wedding dinner and reception in the Arlington hotel, the
couple left for a honeymoon to Niagara Falls and Canada.

Pittsburgh. Mr. Marshall was graduated from Academy High School and from
Allegheny College. He is employed at Griffin Manufacturing Company.

Marshall, 3520 French St. at 4:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct 7 in Wilkinsburg, in the
First Presbyterian Church. Dr. James R. Speer officiated.
Richard Hartung, fraternity brother of the bridegroom
played the traditional organ wedding music, and Herbert Kent, soloist
presented "O Promise Me" and "The Lord's Prayer."
The bride, given in marriage by her uncle, Charles Edgar, wore a
white satin and imported lace gown fashioned with fitted bodice, long sleeves
pointed over the wrists and a full skirt. Her fingertip veil depended
from a juliet cap of lace and seed pearls and she carried an orchid on a
white bible with stephanotis and streamers.
Miss Joyce Moore was maid of honor and she wore a blue satin brocade gown
and carried a bouquet of red dahlias. James E. Reetz, fraternity brother of
the bridegroom was best man and Charles Clark, Tyrone, PA, ushered.
The bridegroom's mother wore a burgandy dress with matching accessories and
an orchid corsage. The bride's mother was in a teal blue dress, black
accessories and an orchid corsage.
The wedding dinner was held at the Arlington Hotel with members of the
bridal party and immediate families attending.
The couple will honeymoon in Canada and will be making their home at Camp
Lee, Va, where the bridegroom is entering the armed services. He is a
graduate of Academy High School and Allegheny College and is a former member
of the Erie Philharmanic Orchestra. She was a member of the nursing staff at
