Research Notes:
Magdalena is thought by some to be the daughter of Henry's second wife, Mary Shelly. However, this is impossible, for Magdalena had a son born in 1762, approximately eight years after her father's remarriage. Note also that Magdalena's husband was born in 1732 [Ref: Slabaugh LANDIS p22]
