This Indenture made the thirtieth day of march in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and forty four Between Daniel Doner of Westpennsboro
Township, Cumberland County, and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and Elizabeth
his wife of the one part, and Jacob Doner of the same township County and
Commonwealth, of the other part, Witnesseth that the said Daniel Doner and
Elizabeth his wife for and in consideration of the sum of four thousand seven
hundred dollars lawful money of the United States of America unto them well
and truly paid by the said Jacob Doner at and before the sealing and delivery
of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have granted
bargained sold aliened enfeoffed released and confirmed and by these presents
Do grant bargain sell alien enfeoff release and confirm unto the said Jacob
Doner his heirs and assigns all the following described Messuage and tract or
parcel of land situated in the said township of Westpennsborough bounded as
follows, viz, Beginning at a post in the line of Samuel Bowman land thence by
it north fifty six and a half degrees west three perches and five tenths to a
pine stump, north twenty nine and a half degrees west eighty seven perches to
a white oak, north thirty seven and a half degrees west thirty seven perches
and six tenths to a post, and North three degrees East twenty eight perches
and seven tenths to a post, thence by land of Alex Sagan formerly a part of
the same original tract north seventy five and a half degrees east one hundred
and twenty one perches and four tenths to a post, thence by land this day
conveyed by said Daniel Doner to his son Abraham Doner south thirty four
degrees east forty three perches and five tenths to a post thence by said
Daniel Doner Mansion tract, south eighty one degrees and three fourths west
twenty one perches to a white oak, south thirty five degrees west twelve
perches and seven tenths to a stone, south twenty four degrees east one
hundred perches and six tenths to a stone, south twenty four degrees east one
hundred perches and six tenths to a stone, and thence south seventy three and
a half degrees west ninety five perches and seven tenths to the place of
Beginning, Containing one hundred acres strict measure, It being part of three
several tracts of land one thereof being a tract which was sold and conveyed
to the said Daniel Doner by the Executors of the last Will and testament of
James McFarlane Esquire deceased by deed bearing date the 13th day of April AD
1819, one other thereof (which contains the Buildings and improvements) was
sold and conveyed to the said Daniel Donner by Robert Laird Esquire
administrator de benis non with the will annexed of said James McFarlane
Esquire deceased by Deed bearing date the first day of January AD one thousand
eight hundred and forty, the first of these Recorded in Record Book FF vol 1,
page 218 and the other Recorded in Book SS vol 1 page 278, as by the same
appears, the other of the said tracts being the mansion tract was sold and
conveyed to the said Daniel Doner by Henry Warner et uxor by Deed bearing date
the 3rd day of May AD One thousand eight hundred and ten as by said Deed
entered of Record in Book U vol 1 page 28 more fully and at large appears,
also a small part of a tract which was sold and conveyed by David Bear and
wife to the said Daniel Doner by Deed bearing date the 1st day of April AD one
thousand eight hundred and twenty two as by said Deed Recorded in Book GG vol
1 page 55 more fully appears, Together with all and singular the improvements
ways waters water courses rights liberties privileges hereditaments and
appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining, and
the reversions and remainders rents issues and profits thereof, and all the
estate right title interest property claim and demand whatsoever of them the
said Daniel Doner and Elizabeth his wife in law equity or otherwise howsoever
of in and to the same and every part thereof, To have and to hold the said
messuage and tract or parcel of land with the hereditaments and premises
hereby granted or mentioned and intended so to be with the appurtenances as
above described unto the said Jacob Doner his heirs and assigns to and for the
only proper use and behoof of the said Jacob Doner his heirs and assigns
forever, And the said Daniel Doner for himself his heirs executors and
administrators doth by these presents covenant grant and agree to and with the
said Jacob Doner his heirs and assigns that he the said Daniel Doner and his
heirs all and singular the hereditaments and premises herein above described
and granted, or mentioned and intended so to be with the appurtenances unto
the said Jacob Doner his heirs and assigns, against him the said Daniel Doner
and his heirs and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever
lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof either in law or
equity shall and will by these presents Warrant and forever defend. In
witness whereof the said parties to these presents have hereunto
interchangeably set their hands and seals Dated the day and year first above

Sealed and delivered in the presence of us, William Irvine, John Harper.
Received the day of the date of the above Indenture of the above named Jacob
Doner full satisfaction for the sum of four thousand and seven hundred
dollars, the consideration money therein mentioned in full. $4700.00. Daniel

Cumberland County SS. On the thirtieth day of March Anno Domini 1844 before
me a Justice of the Peace in and for said County personally appeared the above
named Daniel Doner and Elizabeth his wife and in due form of law acknowledged
the above Indenture to be their act and deed and desired the same might be
recorded as such, and the said Elizabeth being of full age and separate and
apart from her said husband by me thereon privately examined and the full
contents of the above Deed by me made known unto her did thereupon declare and
say that she did voluntarily and of her own free will and accord sign seal and
as her act and deed deliver the above written Indenture Deed or conveyance,
without any coercion or compulsion of her said husband. Witness my hand and

Last Will and Testament of Jacob Doner, Deceased
In the name of God Amen. I, Jacob Doner of West Pennsborough Township
Cumberland County Pennsylvania being weak in body but of sound and disposing
mind and memory do make and declare this to be my will and testament in manner
following, that is to say, first I order and diret that all my just debts,
funeral expenses and charges of proving this my will be first paid and
satisfied, and after payment thereof it is my will and desire and I direct
that the house and lot on which I now live in the village of West Hill be for
the sole use of my beloved wife Margaret so long as she shall remain my widow
and further that she shall have all the goods furniture, fust(?), beds and
bedding dishes and all and every thing in the nature of furniture that is in
the house in which I now live, and further it is my will that she shall have
the horse buggy sleigh harness and all that she can raise on the lot and
garden, And I further will that the sum of Three Thousand Dollars be invested,
after the sale of my real estate in good and sufficient real estate security
and my beloved wife Margaret is to receive the interest on the same amount
annually on the first day of April in each year thereafter so long as she
shall remain my widow, And it is my will and desire that my executor
hereinafter named in one year after my death expose and sell all my real
estate of whatsoever kind, and wheresoever situated at a public sale to the
highest and best bidder, and with full power to make good and sufficient Deeds
for the same, And I will and direct that the proceeds thereof less the three
thousand Dollars above named be divided amony my six children, viz, Jacob G,
Daniel, Martha married to D.W. Green, Anne married to S.P.Bloser, Amanda
married to Wm Brown, and Lizzie married to David Greider, but now separated,
in six equal shares share and share alike, And further that all notes that are
now due and owing to me by my children, or their husbands, are to be deducted
from their respective shares and I further desire that the share of my
daughter Lizzie is to be for her own use and no part or parcel is intended for
the use of her husband David Greider should they consent to live together
again. And lastly I do nominate and appoint Robert M Graham as my executor in
this my last will and testament will full power to make and carry out the
desires in my will, as I intend the same so to be.
In witness whereof I, the said testator, have to this my last will and
testament set my hand and seal this 4th day of April A.D. 1889. Jacob Doner.

This 23rd day of February A.D. 1899 before me D.J. Ramsey, Register for
the probate of wills and granting Letters of Administration in and for the
County of Cumberland in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, personally came
Hiram Nickey and John Semer, who being duly sworn according to law, depose and
say that they are well acquainted with the handwriting of Levi Mondorf whose
name is attached as a subscribing witness to an instrument of writing
purporting to be the Last Will and Testament of Jacob Doner late of West
Pennsboro Twp Cumb Co Pa deceased, and that the said signature is true and
genuine, and that the said Levi Mondorf is now deceased. Hiram Nickey. John

the Probate of Wills and granting Letters of Administration in and for said
County of Cumberland in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, personally came J.Y.
Bucher one of the subscribing witnesses to the forgoing instrument of writing,
purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Jacob Doner late of West
Pennsborough Twp, deceased, who being duly sworn according to law depose and
says that he was present and saw and heard the testator Jacob Doner sign seal
publish pronounce and declare the said instrument of writing as and for his
testament and last will, and that at the time of so ding he was of a sound and
disposing mind memory and understanding, to the best of his knowledge
observation and belief. J.Y. Bucher. Sworn and subscribed before D.J.

Be it remembered that on the 23rd day of February A.D. 1899 the last will
and testament of Jacob Doner, late of West Pennsboro Township, Cumberland
County, Pa, deceased, was duly proved and letters testamentary thereon were by
me the same day issued to R.M. Graham, executor therein named. Inventory and
accounts to be exhibited in the times appointed by law. Said decedent died on
Wednesday the 1st day of February 1899 at about 11 a.m. See affidant of death
