Research Notes:
1900 occupation listed as "Livery, Stable" [Ref: 1900 PA Crawford ED40 02]

Called "Uncle Dutch", no idea of source of name. During WWII built trailers for tanks - large ones with row of 10 wheels on sides. After war, was caretaker for Fire Dept of Springboro and lived in apartment over firehouse. For a while was cook at Conneaut Hotel. Owned 1933 Lafayette automobile, a coupe with rumble seat, leading to fights over sitting in rumble seat. [Ref: Harry Marshall 7/3/94]
