This Indenture made the fifteenth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty Between James Orr of Mercer County and State of Pennsylvania of the one part and William Orr Junior of the same place of the other part Witnesseth that the said James Orr for and in consideration of the sum of fifty dollars lawful money of the United States to him in hand paid by the said William Orr Junr at or before the sealing or declaring have the receipt thereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold aliened enfeoffed released and confirmed and by these presets doth grant bargain sell alien enfeoff release and confirm unto the said William Orr Junr his heirs and assigns all the following described part or parcel of land Situate in Springfield township Mercer County aforesaid, Bounded by land of James Orr Junior on the North, by land of Thomas Richardson on the west, by land of John Black on the East, and South by heirs of J Deniston decd, Containing fifty acres of land more or less, being part of donation lot No 515 in the third district, Together with all and singular the buildings improvements woods ways waters water courses rights liberties privileges heriditaments and appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining and the reversion and remainder rents issues and profits thereof and also the estate right title interest property claim and demand whatsoever of him the said James Orr in law or equity or otherwise however of in and to the same, To have and to hold the said described tract or parcel of land hereditaments and premises hereby granted or mentioned or intended so to be with the appurtenances unto the said William Orr Junior his heirs and assigns forever, and for the only proper use benefit and behoof of him the said William Orr Junior his heirs and assigns forever, And the said James Orr doth Covenant promise to and with the said William Orr Junior his heirs and assigns by these presents that said James Orr and his heirs the said described tract or parcel of land hereby granted with the appurtenances unto the said William Orr Junior his heirs and assigns against the said James Orr and his heirs and against all and every other person whatsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same from or under him shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents. This indenture made the fifth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty Between William Orr and Elizabeth his wife of the township of Springfield County of Mercer and State of Pennsylvania of the first part and George Morton of the county township and state aforesaid of the second part, Witnesseth that the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of eight hundred dollars to them in hand paid by the said party of the second part, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold aliened enfeoffed released confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain sell alien enfeoff release and confirm unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns all that certain lot or tract of land lying and being in the township of Springfield County of Mercer and State of Pennsylvania, it being part of lot No 515 in the third district of donation land described as follows (to wit), beginning at a post and block rock thence south 3 east 58 5/10 perches to a post thence west 94 perches to a post thence north 1 1/2 east 45 perches to a post thence west 104 5/10 perches to a post thence north 1 1/2 West 100 perches to a chestnut(?) thence north 89 ease 195 5/10 perches to the place of beginning Containing ninety nine acres twenty six perches strict measure more or less, being bounded as follows on the east by lands of Jacob Heasley, on the south east by lands of Ralph Hunter on the south by lands of Ralph Hunter and west by lands of William Milkins and on the north by lands of Alexander Dripps, It being part of that tract of land patented by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to James Orr by patent bearing date February 14th AD 1842, It being a tract of donation land and thence to his grandson James Orr he being a lineal heir of James Orr senior and thence conveyed by said James Orr Junior to William Orr Junior, Together with all and singular the hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging and the remainders and reversions rents issues and profits thereof whatsoever to hold [sic, was something skipped here?] the premises hereby granted unto the appurtenances unto the said party of the second part and his heirs and assigns, to the use of the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever, and the said party of the first part and their heirs the premises hereby granted and the appurtenances against all and every person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof to the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents. Mercer County SS: Before me one of the Justices of the peace for the County of Mercer personally appeared the above named William Orr and Elizabeth his wife and acknowledged the above indenture to be their act and deed and desired it to be recorded, the said Elizabeth being of full age, and me separate and apart from her said husband examined and the full contents of the said inednture make known to her, did declare that she did voluntarily and of her own free will and accord seal and as her act and deed deliver the said indenture, without any coercion or compulsion of her said husband. I William Orr of Fairview Township Mercer County and State of Pennsylvania being sick and weak in body but of sound mind memory and understanding and considering the certainty of death and the uncertainty of the time thereof do therefore make and declare this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me of any time before made. First I will and bequeath to my wife Lydia Orr the sum of four hundred dollars. To my daughter Rebecca Jane Shaw the sum of one thousand dollars. To my daughter Eliza Harsh the sum of six hundred dollars. To my daughter Sarah Ann McLaughlin the sum of eight hundred dollars. To my daughter Louisa Hazen the sum of eight hundred dollars. To my daughter Maria Miller the sum of eight hundred dollars. To my son John C Orr the sum of two dollars, and to the heirs of my son William Orr deceased the sum of five dollars each. And in case there should be any money left after the above bequests and my just debts are paid such surplus shall be divided share and share alike to and among my heirs above named. I also direct my executor that as soon after my death as shall be convenient to dispose by sale to the best interests of the estate all my real and personal property. And lastly I constitute and appoint my esteemed friend James Marstetter Executor of this my last will and testament.
