Know all men by these presents that I Thomas Barrett of Tunbridge County of
Orange, State of Vermont, for the confirmation of forty pounds of L money to
me in hand ___ by Daniel Marshall of Tunbridge aforesaid. The receipt whence
of I do hereby acknowledge .... one certain hundred acre lot of land being in
Tunbridge aforesaid beng lot no 213 belonging to the original right of the
___aphtelin?__ Westover(?) as may be seen by the charter and records of said
Tunbridge. .... In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this
10th day of December 1790. Signed: Thomas Barrett.

March 14 Received for Record. Tunbridge March 14 1791 then personally
appeared Thomas Barret Signer and Sealer of the above instrument and
acknowledges the same to be his free act and deed before Alexander Stedman

Tunbridge Vermont Deed 4-150 (Lease), dated Apr 14 1810:
Know all men by these presents that Thomas Brocklebank of Tunbridge in the
County of Orange of State of Vermont for the considerations of the sum of
Fifty Dollars paid to my full satisfaction by Daniel Marshall of Town County &
State aforesaid, the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge have remissed,
released, and forever quit claimed by these presents do remiss, release and
forever quit claim unto him the said Marshall his heirs assigns forever all my
right title and interest which I the sd Brocklebank have or ought to have in
and unto a certain piece of land lying and being in Tunbridge described as
follows, to wit The Westerly half of Lot no 21L belonging to Mr. Glebe or
Chinch. Right of land in said Tunbridge is subject to the annual rents as
leased to me referring to said lease for the description of said premesis.
To have and to hold the above named release and forever quit claimed
presmises unto him the sd Daniel Marshall his heirs and assigns to his and
them proper use benefit and behood forever so that neither I Thomas
Brocklebank my heirs and assigns or any other person or persons in my name or
behalf shall or will in future by any claim to said premisis or any part
thereof but they shall by these presens be escheated and forever barred.
In testimony whereof I here unto set my hand and seal this 14th day of
April AD 1810, Thomas Brocklebank.. In presence of Augustus Colborn and
Samuel Austin.
April 14 1810 personally appeared Thomas Brocklebank signor and
Testator to the foregoing instrument and acknowledged that the same to be
his true act and deed. Before me, Samuel Austin, Justice Peace
April 19th, 1810. Received the above for record, Samuel Austin, Town

Tunbridge Vermont Deed 6-319 (Mortgage), dated Mar 26 1825:
Know all men by these presents that I Daniel Marshall of Tunbridge, County
of Orange, State of Vermont, in consideration of the sum of three hundred
eighty five dollars received to my full satisfaction of David Cornstock of
Strafford County and State aforesaid, the receipt of which I do hereby
adknowledge, have given granted bargained and sold and by these presents do
give grant bargain and sell ___ convey and confirm unto the said David
Cornstock his heirs and assigns forever a certan piece or parcel of land
situated lying and being in Tunbridge in the County of Orange, being one
certain hundred acre no 213 belonging to the original right of Theophilus
Westover and being all and the same land I purchased of Thomas Barrett and the
farm on which I now live. ... In accordance where I have hereunto set my hand
and seal this 26th day of March Anno Domini One Thousand Eight Hundred and
Twenty Five.
Provided never the less that if the said Daniel Marshall his heirs executors
or administrators shall well and truly pay or cause to be paid to the said
David Cornstack his heirs executors or administrators a certain obligation
this day given to the said David Cornstack by the said Daniel Marshall for
keeping sixty sheep for six years in succession and twenty five and haf the
eventy year also for two hundred and eighty nine lambs in the whole one lamb
for each sheep that shall die or other wise be lost for shearing and returning
the wool and as will appear by said ablegation according to the tar or these
of than this deed to be void otherwise to be and remain in full force and
