sister of John and James PEMBERTON of Boston and Newbury, MA. Mentioned in will of John PEMBERTON, who returned to England and died there leaving a will dated 9 Sep 1653 and proved 25 Mar 1654 [Ref: Richardson ROBINSON-Ancestry p148, Richardson ROBINSON-Ancestry p151]

probable that her maiden name was Elizabeth TRICKLEY, who lived in the home of Mr. Alexander SHAPLEIGH, a merchant and ship owner of Kingsweare in Devon, England, and an agent of Sir Fredinando Gorges [Ref: RobinsonSoc ROBINSON-Exeter p2]

came to America probably in one of Mr Alexander Shapleigh's ships to Kittery, Maine, in company with his daughter Katherine Treworgy. Katherine was the wife of James Treworgy, whom Mr Shapleigh sent over to America in 1635 as supercargo. Later she became the wife of Edward Hilton of Exeter, NH [Ref: RobinsonSoc ROBINSON-Exeter p3]

Dec 1641: John Pemberton and the wife of John Robinson of Newberry were presented before the Court for "obscene and filthy speeches and carriages." [Ref: Richardson ROBINSON p17]
