This Indenture made the Nineteenth day of July in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and Nineteen Between George Espy and Mary his wife of
Shenango County of Crawford of the one part and Andrew Wilson of the same
Shenango and County of Crawford of the other part, Witnesseth that the said
George Espy and Mary his wife for and in consideration of the sum of one
hundred and seventy Dollars in lawful money of the United States, to these in
hand paid by the said Andrew Wilson at or before the ensealing and delivery
of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted
bargained sold aliened enfeoffed released and confirmed and by these presents
do grant bargain sell alien enfeoff release and confirm unto the said Andrew
Wilson his heirs and assigns a certain Tract of land laying in Shenango
Township aforesaid bounded as follows viz, Beginning at a White walnut thence
North one hundred and ten perches to a post thence East one hundred and forty
three perches to a Beech thence South one hundred and ten perches to a post
thence West one hundred and forty three perches to the place of Beginning,
Containing twenty two acres and one hundred and twenty two perches and
allowances being part of a larger tract of land originally conveyed on a

of Hartford Connecticut and Henry Baldwin and Sarah his wife of the City of
Pittsburgh of the one part and Andrew Wilson of the Township of Shenango
County of Crawford and State of Pennsylvania of the other part, Witnesseth
that the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of
one hundred and fifty dollars lawful money of the United States to them in
hand paid by the said party of the second part at or before the ensealing and
delivery hereof the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted
bargained sold aliened enfeoffed released and confirmed and by these presents
do grant bargain sell alien enfeoff release and confirm unto the said party of
the second part his heirs and assigns all that tract of land laying in the
Township of Shenango aforesaid bounded as follows beginning at a white ___

Pittsburgh Pennsylvania by John Reynolds of the Borough of Meadville Crawford
County Pennsylvania, his attorney in fact duly constituted, of the one part,
and Andrew Wilson of the said County of Crawford, of the other part,
Witnesseth that the said Oliver Ormsby for and in consideration of the sum of
Sixteen hundred and twenty five dollars, money of the United States, to him in
hand paid by the said Andrew Wilson, at and before the sealing and delivery of
these presents, the receipt and payment whereof he does hereby acknowledge and
thereof acquit and forever discharge the said Andrew Wilson, his heirs,
executors, and administrators by these presents, has granted, bargained, sold,
aliened, enfeoffed, released, and confirmed, and by these presents Does grant,

This Indenture made the thirty first day of March in the year of our Lord
one thousand eight hundred and thirty five, Between Andrew Wilson of the
County of Crawford and State of Pennsylvania and Mary his wife of the first
part and Joseph Wilson of the County and State aforesaid of the second part,
Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part for and in consideration of
the sum of one hundred and seventy five dollars to them in hand paid by the
said party of the second part the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged have
granted bargained sold conveyed and confirmed and by these presents to grant
bargain sell release and confirm unto the said party of the second part his
heirs and assigns all that Certain tract or piece of Land situate in the
township of North Shenango in the County and State aforesaid and Bounded as
follows beginning at a post thence east one hundred and forty eight perches to
a Chestnut thence north seventy one perches to a post thence west one hundred
and forty eight perches to a post, thence South seventy one perches to a post,
the place of beginning, containing sixty two acres and thirty two perches with
the allowance of six percent for roads, be the same more or less, being part
of larger tract of land one originally Surveyed on a warrant granted in name
of Henry Steer and the other Surveyed on a warrant granted to John Shepherd
bearing date the 21st day of April 1794 and was patented to George Espy by
pattent dated the 22nd day of October 1817, and was deeded to Andrew Wilson
buy deed of indenture bearing date the 19th day of July 1817 the other by
sundry conveyances becoming vested in Henry Baldwin and Stephen Barlow and by
the said Henry and Stephen was deeded to Andrew Wilson by deed of indenture
bearing date 2nd day of May 1820, together with all and singular the
hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging and the remainder and
reversions rights issues and profits thereof to have and to hold the premises
hereby granted with the appurtenances unto the said party of the second part,
his heirs and assigns to the use of the said party of the second part his
heirs and assigns forever, the parties of the first part and heirs the
premises hereby granted with the appurtenances against all and every person or
persons whatsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof
to the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns shall and will
warrant and forever defend by these presents. In witness whereof the said

This Indenture made the seventeenth day of December in the year of our Lord
one thousand eight hundred and forty two, Between Andrew Wilson of North
Shenango Township, County of Crawford, and State of Pennsylvania, of the first
part, and Joseph Willson, of the second part, of the Township County and State
aforesaid, Witnesseth that the said Andrew Wilson for and in consideration of
the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars, lawful money as well as a further
consideration entered into and bearing date with these presents whence
reference more fully may be had, to them in hand paid by the said Joseph
Wilson, at and before the ensealing and delivery, hereof, the receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged, have granted bargained sold aliened enfeoffed released
and confirmed, and by these presents doth grant bargain sell alien enfeoff
release and confirm unto the said Joseph Willson his heirs and assigns, a
certain tract of land lying in Shenango Township aforesaid, bounded as follows
(viz), Beginning at a post the south west corner, thence North ninety one
perches to a post, thence East seven perches to a post, thence North five
perches to a post, thence East one hundred and twenty six perches to a Beech,
thence South ninety six perches to a post, thence West one hundred and forth
three perches to the place of beginning, Containing eighty acres and eleven
perches, and allowance of six per cent for roads, surveyed on a warrant
granted to John Shepherd dated the 21st day of April 1794 and pattented to
George Espy on the 22nd day of October 1817, and by conveyance was vested in
the said Andrew Willson on the nineteenth day of July 1819, as reference
thereto be had in Deed Book H pages 226 and 227, Together with all and
singular the buildings improvements woods ways waters water courses privileges
hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever belonging or are anywise
appertaining, and the reversions and remainders, rents, issues and profits
thereof, and all the estate rights, title, interest and property claims and
demand and whatsoever of him the said Andrew Wilson, in law or equity, or
otherwise of in and to the same, to have and to hold the said described tract
of land, with the hereditaments hereby granted, or intended so to be, with the
appurtenances unto the said Joseph Wilson, his heirs and assigns, to and for
the only proper use, benefit, and behoof of him the said Joseph Willson, and
his heirs and assigns forever, And the said Andrew Wilson covenants promises
and agrees to and with the said Joseph Willson, and his heirs and assigns, by
these presents, that he the said Andrew Willson and his heirs the said
described tract of land hereby granted with the appurtenances unto the said
Joseph Willson and his heirs and assigns against him the said Andrew Willson
and his heirs against all persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the
same, shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents. In witness

I Andrew Wilson of the township of North Shenango County of Crawford and
State of Pennsylvania do make and publish this my last will and testament and
first I direct that my body be decently intered and that my funeral be
conducted in a manner corresponding with my Estate and situation in life. And
to such worldly estate as it hath Pleased God to intrust me with, I dispose of
as follows, and first direct that all my debts and funeral expenses be paid as
soon after my decease as possible out of the first money that shall come into
the hands of my executors. Also I direct that my Sons Hugh and Robert have
each twenty dollars. Also my Daughters Sarah, Mary, and Margaret each twenty
dollars. Also my "Daughter" Isabella five dollars. [WTM: quotation marks
appear in original around the word "Daughter"] Also my Daughter Rebecca thirty
dollars two beds and the necessary bedding one half part of all my household
furniture. Also my Granddaughter Mary Marshal one bureau worth fifteen
dollars to be intirely new when she attains the age of sixteen (16) years.
Also I direct that all money due me as an administrator of the Estate of my
son-in-law Isaac P Marshall due after all the expenses of the same is settled
and paid the residue if any to be paid over to my GrandChildren, Russell Alden
Marshall, Joseph Wish Marshall and Mary Marshall Share and share alike. Also
I direct that my son Joseph shall have forty two dollars out of which he is to
pay thirty five dollars of my debts if there should be so much owing by me at
my decease, if not so much to be paid on my funeral expenses. Also I direct
that my beloved wife shall have fifty dollars and all my bed and bedding
household and kitchen furniture after my daughter Rebecca shall have her share
apportioned to her and also that the fifty dollars be paid to my beloved wife
out of the first money due me after my debts and funeral expenses is paid, and
I do hereby make and ordain my son Joseph Wilson Executor of this my last will
and testament. In withess thereof I Andrew Wilson the testator have to this
my last will written on one sheet of paper set my hand and this nineteen day
of July one thousand eight hundred and forty three.

testator therein named sign his name thereto that they signed as witnesses in

testament at which time we believe him as sound and disposing mind and memory
