Jan 24 1839: The petition of the minor children of Isaac Marshall Decd praying
to have guardian appointed. Whereupon the Court appoint Joseph Wilson and
Russel Marshall the said guardians to gie bone in the sum of $300. Bond given
with sufficient ___ and appointment due bond filed. Bond signed by Russel

Feb 13 1839: Petition of Andrew Wilson for the appointment of a guardian for
the minor children of Isaac P Marshall of North Shenango, decd, to wit Russel
Aldinus, Joseph Mark, and Mary. Whereupon the Court appoint Joseph

This Indenture made the sixteenth day of May in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and fifty six Between Mary Marshall of North Shenango
Township in the County of Crawford and State of Pennsylvania of the first part
and Jacob Trace of the same township, County and State of the second part,
Witnesseth that the said party of the first part for and in consideration of
the sum of ninety dollars lawful money of the United States to her in hand
paid by the said party of the second part at and before the sealing and
delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged has
granted bargained sold assigned and released and confirmed, and by these
presents does grant, bargain, sell, assign, release and confirm to the party
of the second part his heirs and assigns all that Certain undivided third part
of a lot of land lying west of the Village of Espyville in North Shenango
Township being bounded and described as follows, viz, beginning at a post in
the East line of the mill Tract at a point twenty nine perches from the Cherry
Tree corner, thence South twenty one perches to a post, thence West eight
perches to a post, thence South ten perches to a post, thence East eight
perches to a post, thence along Mine junction to a post, thence West eighteen
perches to a post, thence North sixty seven perches to a post, thence eastward
to the place of beginning, the above described lot or parcel of land formerly
deeded to the late Isaac Marshall now deceased, of the same Township and
County aforesaid; Said Mary Marshall being one of his lawful heirs, said
largest lot above mentioned containing twenty acres being the same more or
less, Together with all and singular the hereditaments and premises thereunto
belonging and the reversions and remainders and issues and profits thereof to
have and to hold all and singular the said piece or parcel of land herediments
and premises herein granted and conveyed with the appurtenances to the said
party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever, and the said party of
the first part and his heirs all and singular the above granted piece or
parcel of land hereditaments and premises with the appurtenances to the said
party of the second part his heirs and assigns warrant the said party of the
first part and her heirs and assigns all and every person or persons lawfully
claiming or to claim the same on any part thereof the said party of the first
shall and will warrant and forever defent by these presents. In witness
whereof the said party of the first part to these presents has herein set her

Sealed and delivered in the presence of Wm M Mickey,
Crawford County SS: Before me the subscriber a Justice of the peace
personally appeared Mary marshall, the granter above named and acknowledged
the above written indenture to be her act and deed and desires that the same
might be recorded as such. She the said Mary Marshall being of lawful age by
me examined separate and apart from her said husband [sic] and the contents of
the said indenture having first been made fully known to her declaring that
she did of her own free will and accord sign seal and on her act and deed
deliver the same without compulsion or coercion of or from her said husband.
