Will G. Mack was born in Quincy Township, Olmsted County, Minn., February 17, 1871, son of George W. and Margaret E. (Utter) Mack. He lost his father when but a little over one year old. At the age of 12 he started his career by securing work in a hotel, where he worked for his board and clothes while attending school.
