This Indenture made the twenty eight day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty six, between Cyrus Willson of the Township of North Shenango, County of Crawford, State of Pennsylvania, and Catharine his wife, of the first part, and Mary C Marshall, of the Township, County and State aforesaid, of the second part, Witnesseth, that the said parties of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of Fifty Dollars lawful money of the United States of America, unto them well and truly paid by the said party of the second part, at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargained, sold, aliened, enfeoffed, released, conveyed, and confirmed, and by these presents to grant, bargain, sell, alien, enfeoff, release, convey, and confirm unto the said parties of the second part her heirs and assigns, All that certain piece or lot of land, lying and being in the Township of North Shenango, County of Crawford, and State of Pennsylvania, bounded and described as follows (to wit) Commencing at the north west corner at a post or stone it being on the south line of A Clelands Lot, thence south by land of Cyrus Willson eight rods and eleven links to post or stone, thence east by land of Cyrus Willson seven rods seventeen links to Jamestown Road, thence north along said Road three rods eighteen links to post or stone, thence west along land of Mary C Marshall two rods, three links to post or stone, thence north along land of said Mary C. Marshall, four rods, fourteen links to post or stone, thence west along land of G Cleland five rods and fourteen links to post or stone, the place of beginning. The above described Lot of land, the same more or less, being a part of a larger lot of land now owned by Cyrus Willson as may be seen by having access to Records of Crawford County. Together with all and singular the rights, liberties, privileges, hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever thereto belonging and the reversions and remainders, rents, issues, and profits thereof And also, all the estate and interest whatsoever of them, the said parties of the first part, in law or equity, of in to or out of the same. To have and to Hold the premises hereby granted, or intended so to be with the appurtenances, unto the said party of the second part, her heirs and assigns, to the use of the said party of the second part her heirs and assigns forever. And the said parties of the first part, their heirs, executors and administrators, do hereby covenant and agree to and with the said party of the second part her heirs and assigns, thatt they the said parties of the first part, their heirs the above mentioned and described premises with the appurtenances unto the said party of the second part against the said party of the first part and her heirs, and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim, shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents. State of Pennsylvania, Crawford County, SS: Before me, the subscriber, a Justice of the Peace in and for the said County, personally came the above named Cyrus Willson and Catharine his wife and acknowledged the above Indenture to be their act and deed, to the end that the same might be recorded as such. She, the said Catharine, being of full age, and by me separate and apart from her said husband, duly examined, and the contents of the above Indenture fully made known to her, declared that she did, voluntarily and of her own free will and record, and without any coercion or compulsion on the part of her said husband, sign, seal, execute, and deliver the same.
