of land in Manomet, the area later called Monument, lying to the north of
the Sandwich Settlement which was named Herring River Village (within the
township of Sandwich). The deed shows that the land aly "to the eastward of
Thomas Burgis his sonne in lawes house" thus proving that Ezra Perry was then
