1793: Benjamin Herr of Northumberland Co, PA, appeared with a power of
attorney, dated Sunbury, Jul 4, 1791, and claimed an inheritance of #352.17
for the five children. The release, however, was refused for three reasons.
His name was not found in MP so that he 'seemed' to have emigrated without
consent. His children had never been subjects of Basel. The applicants at
home were needy. [Ref: Faust SwissEmigrants v2p215]
