This Indenture made this nineteenth day of June in the Year of our Lord one
thousand seven hundred and ninety two Between Jacob Sherret of Beaverdam
Township in the County of Northumberland and State of Pennsylvania Miller of
the one part and John Harpster of the Township County and State Aforesaid
Joiner of the other part, Whereas the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania by their
warrant bearing date the 8th day of May 1789 bounded as follows, viz,
Adjoining Willing and Taylor Rinehold Cane and others on Mussors Valley in
Beaver Township did grant and Confirm unto him the said Jacob Sherret twenty
six acres of land as by said grant may appear, Now this Indenture Witnesseth
that the said Jacob Sherret for the sum and Consideration of fifteen pounds
good and Lawfull money of Pennsylvania will and truly in hand paid to him the
said Jacob Sherret by the above named John Harpster the receipt and payment
whereof whereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold and confirmed and by
these presents doth grant bargain sell release and confirm unto him the said
John Harpster and to his heirs and assign forever All the above warrant and
Tract of land which it the said Warrant calls for Together with all and
Singular the Buildings and Improvements thereon erected and all the ways woods
waters and water courses rights liberties privileges and appurtenances
whatsoever thereon to belonging or in any wise appertaining as fully as he the
said Jacob Sharret had or could have had to the within mentioned warrant and
tract of land, To have and to hold to him the said John Harpster and to his
heirs and assigns forever all the above mentioned warrant and tract of land
and every part and parcel thereof Hereditaments and Premises hereby granted
and sold or mentioned or intended so to be with the Appurtenances unto the
said John Harpster his heirs and assigns to the only proper use benefit and
behoof of him the said John Harpster and his heirs and assigns forever and the
said Jacob Sherret by these presents doth covenant grant and agree for himself
and his heirs that he the above described warranted tract of land shall and
will warrant and forever defend to the said John Harpster his heirs and
assigns. In Witness whereof the said parties to these presents have
interchangeably set their hands and seals the day and year first above

the peace for the County aforesaid came the within named Jacob Sherret and
acknowledged the within Indenture to be his act and Deed and desired it might
be recorded according to low for the use within written. In Witness whereof I
have hereunto set my hand and Seal this 19th day of June in the year of our

Northumberland Co PA Deeds H-249, dated 27 Nov 1794:
Know all men by these presents that Whereas Application hath lately been
made by one Elias Reager to the Land Office of Pennsylvania for a grant of a
tract of land Containing four hundred acres Adjoining John Thomas and Henry
Gross, Situate in Beaver Dam Township in the county of Northumberland and
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania by virtue of a Warrant Dated the 21st day of June
in the Year of our Lord 1793, In pursuance whereof a Warrant or order hath or
is to be Issued for Surveying the same for my use. Now Know Ye that I the
said Elias Reager for the Consideration of twelve pounds lawfull money of
Pennsylvania aforesaid to him in hand paid by John Harpster and George
Harpster of Beaver Township in the county aforesaid, the Receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged, hath granted bargained sold released and confirmed and by
these presents doth grant bargain sell release and confirm unto the said John
Harpster and George Harpster to them their heirs and assigns as Tenants in
Common and not as Joint Tenants, all the above mentioned tract of land with
appurtenances and all my Right title Interest property claim and demand
whatsoever of in and to the same and every part thereof and of in and to all
and Singular the Lands and Tenements whatsoever which may be granted or
Surveyed by Virtue of the above mentioned Application or of any order of
Survey issued by Virtue of the above and in pursuance thereof, To have and to
hold the said Land and premises with the appurtenances unto the said John
Harpster and George Harpster their Heirs and assigns to the only proper use
and behoof of them the said John Harpster and George Harpster their Heirs and
Assigns forever, subject to the purchase money fee and Taxes due or hereafter
to become due thereon. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and
Seal the twenty seventh day of November in the Year of our Lord one thousand
seven hundred and ninety four. Elias Reager.

This Indenture made the 9th day of April in the year of our Lord 1795
Between Jacob Wiand of Beaver township in the county of Northumberland county
and State of Pennsylvania Weaver of the one part and John Harbster of the
township and county and State above said house Carpenter of the other part,
Whereas the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania by their warrant of the eight day of
May 1789 bounded by Willing and Taylor Rinehold Lane and others in Mussers
Valley in the township of Beaver aforesaid Did grant unto John Harbster [sic,
probably meant to be Jacob Winand] twenty six acres of land as by said warrant
may appear, Now this Indenture witnesseth that the said Jacob Wiand for the
sum and Consideration of five and twenty pounds gold or silver Coin well and
truly to him the said Jacob Wiand in hand paid by the said John Harbster the
Receipt and payment whereof is hereby acknowledged hat granted bargained sold
released and confirmed and by these presents doth grant bargain sell release
and Confirm all the above Warrant and Tract of Land to the above named John
Harbster and to his Heirs and Assign together with all and singular the Ways
woods water and Water Courses Rights and Liberties Privileges and
Appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in any wise thereunto
appertaining and all the Reversion and Reversions Remainder and Remainders
Rents Issues and Profits thereof to have and to hold to him the said John
Harbster and to his Heirs and Assigns all the above described Warrant and
Tract of Land as already Surveyed or to be Surveyed Containing twenty six
acres as above said be the same more or less, to the only proper use benefit
and behoof of him the said John Harbster and to his Heirs and Assigns and the
said Jacob Wiand by these Presents doth hereby Covenant Grant and agree to and
with him the said John Harbster his Heirs and Assigns that he the above
described Warrant and tract of Land containing twenty six acres as above said
Shall and will Warrant and forever defend from ever defend [sic] from all and
all manner of Persons whatsoever lawfully claiming or to claim by from or
under him the said Jacob Wiand unto the said John Harbster and to his Heirs
and assigns forever. In witness whereof the said Parties to these Present
have interchangeably set their Hands and Seals dated the day and year first

Wiand the Grantor in the within written Indenture of writing and acknowledged

To all People to whom these presents shall come John Harpster of Beaver
Township in the County of Northumberland and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania send
Greeting. Know Ye that the said John Harpster for and in Consideration of the
sum of seventy five pounds Gold or Silver money to him in hand paid by Daniel
Hell of the same place at and before the ensealing and delivery hereof the
Receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge and thereof acquit and forever
discharge the said Daniel Hell his Heirs Executors and Administrators by these
presents, hath Granted bargained sold released and confirmed and by these
presents doth Grant Bargain sell Release and Confirm unto the said Daniel Hell
and to his Heirs and Assigns all that certain improvement and tract of land
lying and being in Beaver Township aforesaid,adjoining lands of Reninold Kees,
John Dallis, Jacob Scharred and on others land, Containing thirty acres of
land more or less, Together with all and Singular the buildings improvements
ways Woods Waters Water Course Rights Liberties hereditaments and
Appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining and
the Reversions and Remainders Rents Issues and Profits thereof, To have and to
hold the said Described Tract of land containing thirty acres (be the more or
less) hereditaments and premises hereby granted or mentioned or intended so to
be with the appurtenances unto the said Daniel Hell his Heirs and Assigns, To
the only proper use and behoof of the said Daniel Hell his Heirs and Assigns
forever, Subject to the payment of the Annual Purchase money Interest and Quit
Rents due and to become due for the same and the said John Harbster for
himself his Heirs Executors and Administrators doth Covenant Promise and Grant
to and with the said Daniel Hell his Heirs and Assigns the said hereby granted
bargained and sold Tract of land and Every part and parcel thereof, against
him and his Heirs and against all and every other person his heirs and against
all and every other person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim
the said Trace of land containing thirty acres be the same more or less to the
said Daniel Hell his Heirs and Assigns shall and will warrant forever Defend
by these presents. In Witness whereof the said Parties to these presents have
hereunto interchangeably set their Hands and Seals the twenty first day of
April in the year of our Lord 1795. John Harpster.
