G. W. Watson [Miscellanea Genealogica et Heraldica, 5th series, vol. 8, pp. 68, 69 (1962)] prints a transcript of a plea in the Court of Common Pleas, concerning a dispute between Gilbert de Umfraville and Thomas de Roos of Hamelake, over the advowson of Ilkley. It is recited that this descended from William to Lucy and Agnes as his sisters and heirs, and that Agnes's share descended to John Bulmere as her son and heir. (Unfortunately, Watson does not give a date or any further reference for this plea.) [Ref: CP++ Kyme 8/26/2004 (CP VII p356)]
