To All To Whom these Presents shall come or may Concern Arnold Becker and Benjamin Landus of the County of Lancaster Yeoman Executors of the Last Will and Testament of Henry Landus late of the County of Lancaster aforesaid Yeoman deceased send greetings. Whereas the Honorable Thomas Penn and Richard Penn Esquires true and absolute Proprietaries and Governors in Chief of the Province of Pennsylvania and Counties of NewCastle Kent and Sussex on Delaware in and by their Certain Patent bearing date on the first day of December in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and fifty eight did Grant and Confirm unto Abraham Shelley late of the County aforesaid Yeoman his heirs and Assigns forever all that Certain Tract of Land situate Lying and being in the County of Lancaster aforesaid Beginning at a marked Spruce Tree standing on the side of Chiecus Creek thence extending by Lines of marked Trees South by West eighty three Perches to a marked Black Oak North Sixty seven Degrees and a half west One hundred and twenty Perches to a marked Spanish Oak and West by South forty perches to a post thence by Christian Holdemans Land North by West Sixty six perches to a marked black Oak thence by lines of Marked Trees the four Courses and Distances next following, viz, East ninety two perches to a marked white oak, North East by East fifty two Perches to a marked Spanish Oak North thirty eight degrees East sixty eight Perches to a marked white Oak and North sixty Degrees East sixty eight Perches to a post standing on the said Chiecus Creek thence Down the same Creek on the Several Courses thereof two hundred and twenty perches to the Place of Beginning, Containing One hundred and Ninety eight Acres and the Usual Allowance of six Percent for Roads and Highways as in and by the said Patent recorded in the Office for Recording of Deeds for the City and County of Philadelphia in Patent Book A vol 15 page 163 etc may more fully appear, reference thereunto being had, And Whereas the said Abraham Shelley and Anna Elizabeth his wife in and by their certain Deed indent bearing date the twenty eighth day of November in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and fifty eight for the Consideration therein mentioned did Grant and Confirm unto the said Henry Landus deceased his heirs and assigns forever All that the above mentioned an described Tract of One hundred and ninety eight Acres of Land and Allowance as in and by the said Indenture may more fully appear reference thereunto being had by Virtue whereof the said Henry Landus became seized and Possessed in his Demesne as of fee of in and to the said Tract of Land and Premises, And being so thereof seized and possessed did made and declare his Last Will and Testament in Writing bearing date on the seventeenth day of May last Past and of his said last Will and Testament did nominate Constitute and Appoint the said Arnold Becker and Benjamin Landus Executors, And Whereas the said Henry Landus in and by a Certain Codicil to his said Last Will and Testament annexed bearing date on the sixth day of October last Past did among other things Will order and direct as follows, viz, "Item I give and devise unto my beloved wife Mary all that my land and Plantation of one hundred and ninety eight acres of land in Donigall Township Lancaster County to her her heirs and assigns forever and I do hereby Impower my Executors in my Last Will Mentioned and Appointed that shall after my Decease sign Seal and Execute and deliver unto my said wife Mary a Good and Lawfull Deed for the same", As in and by the said Last Will and Testament and Codicil thereto annexed duly proved and remaining of Record in the Registers Office at Lancaster may more fully appear reference being thereunto had, Now know ye that the said Arnold Becker and Benjamin Landis in Pursuance of and agreeable to the directions of the said Last Will and Codicil of the said Henry Landus Deceased and for and in Consideration of the sum of ten Shillings Lawfull Money of Pennsylvania to them in hand paid by Mary Landus Widow and relict of the said Henry Landus deceased the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledge have granted bargained sold ratified and Confirmed and by these Presents do grant bargain sell ratify and confirm unto the said Mary Landus her heirs and assigns All that the above mentioned and described tract of One hundred and ninety eight acres of Land and Allowance aforesaid, Together with all and singular the Houses Out Houses Edifices and Buildings thereon Erected and Built, Profits Commodities Emoluments Hereditaments and Appurtenances whatsoever to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining and the Reversion and Reversions Remainder and Remainders thereof and all the Estate Right Title Interest Use Trust Property Claim and Demand whatsoever of him the said Henry Landus deceased at or immediately after the time of his Death both at Law and in Equity of in and to the same, To Have and to Hold the said Tract of Land of One hundred and Ninety eight Acres of Land and Allowance Hereditaments and all and Singular the Premises above mentioned with the Appurtenances unto the said Mary Landus her heirs and Assigns to the only Proper use benefit and behoof of her the said Mary Landus her heirs and Assigns forever, At and under the Yearly quit rent now due and to become due for the same to the Chief Lrod or Lords of the Fee thereof. Before me the Subscriber one of his Majestys Justices of the Peace for the County of Lancaster came the above named Arnold Becker and Benjamin Landus and Acknowledged the above indenture to be their Act and Deed and desired that the same might be recorded as such. In Testimony Whereof I have hereto set my hand and Seal the 26th day of November 1760. Robert Thompson.

To All People to whom these presents shall come, we Jacob Shelley Michael Shelley Abraham Shelley Christian Shelley Daniel Shelley Peter Shelley and Peter Bowman and Mary his wife and the said Jacob Michael Abraham Christian Daniel Peter Shelley and Mary being the Children of Mary the late widow and Relict of Henry Landes Deceased by Jacob Shelley her former Husband Deceased Send Greetings. Whereas the said Henry Landes in and by his Last will and Testament bearing date the Seventeenth day of May in the year of our Lord one Thousand Seven Hundred and Sixty did Devise order and Direct in the words or to the Effect following, viz, "Item it is my will that my Hereafter mentioned Executors shall pay unto my beloved wife Mary the Sum of one hundred Pounds according to the Agreement made with her before our Marriage" and of his said last Will and Testament did nominate and appoint Arnold Becker and Benjamin Landis Executors as in and by the Same last Will and Testament duly proved and Remaining in the Registers Office at Lancaster may appear, And Whereas the said Sum of one Hundred Pounds was in the life time of the said Henry Landes paid off for the Said Mary and Hath been to our knowledge paid unto her without being included in the Inventory of the Personal Estate of the said Deceased but the Said Executors having no Discharge for the same, Now Know Ye that we the said Jacob Shelley Michael Shelley Abraham Shelley Christian Shelley Daniel Shelley Peter Shelley and Peter Bowman and Mary his wife do hereby Testify and Acknowledge that the said Mary late Widow and Relict of the said Henry landes deceased did in her lifetime she being now deceased, Receive full and entire satisfaction for the said Item of one Hundred pounds so as aforesaid by the said Henry Landis deceased directed to be paid to her by his Executors. In Consideration whereof we and each do hereby Acquit Release and forever discharge the Said Arnold Becker and Benjamin Landis their Heirs Executors and Administrators and the Heirs of the said Henry Landes deceased of and from the said sum of one Hundred Pounds and every part thereof and we do hereby in consideration of the Premisses aforesaid for ourselves Severally and Respectively and for our Several and Respective Heirs Executors and Administrators Remise Release and forever Quit Claim unto the said Arnold Becker and Benjamin Landes their Heirs Executors and Administrators and to the Heirs of the said Henry Landes and their Heirs Executors and Administrators and Every of them all and all manner of action and actions cause and causes of action and actions debt legacys sums and sums of Money Suits controversys and demands whatsoever which we or either of us ever had or now have and which we or either of us our or any of either of our Heirs Executors or Administrators can or may Have Claim Challenge or Demand of from or against them the said Arnold Becker and Benjamin Landes or either of them or their Heirs Executors or Administrators and of from or against the Heirs and Divisees of the said Henry Landes Deceased for on Account of the said sum of one Hundred Pounds so as aforesaid directed to be paid by the said Executors to she said Mary or any other matter or thing any ways Relating to the Estate of the said Henry Landes deceased or any ways Accruing or Arising due to us or any of us by or under the said last Will and Testament of the said deceased. In Witness whereof we have hereto set our Hands and Seals the Eighth day of May A.D. one thousand seven hundred and sixty five.
