Research Notes:
came to America from England in 1638, bringing with her three sons; one of whom settled in Charleston, MA; another in Boston, MA; and third son, Anthony, at the time an infant, settled in life first at Springfield, MA, next at Suffield, CT. She became a widow [Ref: Baker AUSTIN p95]

As wife of a freeholder ("Goodman") she would be a "Goodwife" entitled to a middle-class degree of respect. [Ref: WaltersP WALTERS AUSTIN-p13]
