Mich 1202: accounted to 60 marks not to be constrained to be married, and should she wish to marry that should be by the counsel of the king or the chief justice, and for having her right of dower [Ref: Farrer EYC v9p8]

1204: agreement made with William Briwere for her dower from Hugh de Moreville's lands, by which William quitclaimed to her the manors of Kirkoswald, near Penrith, and Lazonby and she quitclaimed the manor of Isell [Ref: Farrer EYC v9p8]

1209: Robert de Vipont owed 500 marks and 5 palfreys for the custody of the lands of William son of Ranulf, and his heirs, and for the marriage of Helewise his widow [Ref: Farrer EYC v9p9]

1218-9: successful in her claim that Robert de Ros had disseised her of common of pasture in Bielby [Ref: Farrer EYC v9p9]
