Feudal Lord of Greystoke, was son and heir of his father, Robert. When father died 1317 he became Lord Greystoke [Ref: Holloway WENTWORTH p14]

Aug 19 1317 King granted him the manors of Grimthorpe, Crossthwaite, Thorpe Bassett, and Neasham (all held in socage, but not of the King. [Ref: CP V p518, CP VI p190]

Nov 25 1317: Request, by the King, for a papal dispensation that Ralph Graystoke, of the diocese of York, and Alice de Audele, the King's kinswoman, of the diocese of Coventry and Lichfield, might intermarry, althouth the said Ralph and Alice are related to the 4th-3rd degree of consanguinity [Ref: CP VI p190]
