Isabella, daughter, it may be illegitimate, but at least one of the heirs, of
John de Bretagne, Earl of Richmond, second son of John the 2nd Duke of
Brittany, by Beatrix, daughter of King Henry III" ... pass over the question
of how an illegitimate daughter could be one of the heirs... identification is
based on (1) allowance of arms of Brittany as a quartering, and (2) charter of
