1127: Henry I confirmed to the abbey of Aunay the foundation grants of Jordan de Say, his wife Lucy and sons Ingelran, Gilbert and Peter, in Aunay, Herouville, Ranville and Asnieres (in Calvados) and Cenilly and Remilly (Manche) and in England [Ref: Keats-Rohan DD p680]

1141: Empress Matilda confirmed William de Say in the English lands of his father, whose career was presumably still primarily Norman [Ref: Keats-Rohan DD p680]

prob 1148 (certainly before 1161): made a grant to Eynsham for the burial of his son William, attested by his son Rannulf [Ref: Keats-Rohan DD p680]
