Research Notes:
Text of Strabon, c.18/19, "Of the during proclaims king, Atropates organized the Medie in independant state and the dynasty originating from himself maintained there even has our days, its successors having known to contract marriages with the Armenian royal families and of Syria, and mor recently of Persia." [Ref: Settipani LGA p90]

Marriage with Armenien royal family was in 67 BC, Mithridates King of Medie with a daughter of Tigranes II King of Armenia. [Ref: Settipani LGA p93]

Marriage with Persian royal family was a daughter of Phraates IV and a son of Artavasdes in c.15. [Ref: Settipani LGA p91]

Marriage with Kings of Syria situated between 67 BC and 15 BC. Best choice is Artavasdes & daughter of Antiochos I (King of Kommagene), indicated by the daughter named Iotapei (who married Mithridates III of Kommagene) [Ref: Settipani LGA p93]
