name indicates a descendant of King Izates of Adiabene. Son Abgar VII the Great was nephew of Abgar VI, so probably son of Maninos VI (known father of Abgar VI) and a daughter of Izates II (to get the connection to King Izates) [Ref: Settipani LGA p79]
