Mithridates VI Eupator (111-63) boasted after Justin to descend from Achemenides by his father and Seleucides as well as of Alexander the Great by his mother. This text proves also the descent of Laodike since Alexander passed by Seleucides [Ref: Settipani LGA p134]

Antiochos I of Commagene (c.70-36) inscriptions of his tomb give hsi genealogy, and includes Dareios I on paternal side and Seleukos I and Alexander the Great on maternal side. Again it was the Seleucides that transmitted the blood of Alexander the Great [Ref: Settipani LGA p134]
