daughter of Piccott and Joan, coheiress of ... Wake [Ref: Mardi Carter SGM 10/2/1998]

note on identification of Lora Picot: Gerard and Lora de Braybrooke's grandson, Robert Bishop of London, is known to have been a near kinsman of Joan of Kent, wife of Edward the Black Prince. It seems certain that this was through Joan's mother's Wake ancestry. The parents of Lora being Michael Picot and Joan daughter of Baldwin Wake, makes Lora a first cousin to Margaret Wake, mother of Princess Joan. [Ref: Richardson PA p146]
