Mar 13 1321/2 to Dec 3 1326: in consideration of his services to England, he was summoned to the English Parliament by writs directed "David de Strabolgi comti Athol" whereby he may be held to have acquired an English Barony in fee, though not an English Earldom. [Ref: CP I p306]
