King of Scots from his brother's death in 1093 to 1094, when he was ousted by Malcolm's son Duncan. Joint king with Duncan's brother Edmund from 1094, when Duncan was killed, to 1097, when Donald was blinded, and succeeded by Malcolm's son Edgar [Ref: Michael Davidson SGM 10/23/1995]
