This Indenture made this twelfth day of April one thousand eight hundred
and ten between Mary Miller and Adam Miller and Sarah his wife, and Anthony
Miller, Elizabeth his wife, and all of Greene County and State of Pennsylvania
of the one part and Thomas Hughes of the same place of the other part,
Witnesseth that the said Mary Miller and Adam and Anthony for and in
consideration of the sum of thirteen hundred and ninety dollars in hand paid
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged they the said Mary Miller, and Adam
Miller and Sarah his wife, and Anthony Miller and Elizabeth his wife, have
granted bargained and sold and by these presents doth grant bargain and sell
part of a tract of land called Hartman's Hall situate on a drains of
Monnongahela river in Greene County Jefferson township and State of
Pennsylvania and patented unto Adam Hartman dated the 13 day of September
1769, who conveyed the same to Abraham Miller dated the twenty third day of
November 1793, who deceased the fifth day of August 1798,
And the said Mary being the Executor of the said Abraham Miller and the
said Adam and Anthony Miller heirs to the said plantation,
Beginning at a dogwood thence by vacant land North forty four degrees
East seven perches to a dogwood, thence by land of Abijah McClain North eight
degrees East thirty perches to a dogwood, thence by vacant land North twenty
nine degrees East eighty three perches to a white walnut, North fifty two
degrees West thirty six perches and eight tenth to a lime stone, thence by
land of William Hillers North eighty six degrees West ten perches to a sugar,
North thirty one degrees West forty five perches to a stone, North nineteen
degrees and a half East fifty eight perches to a sugar, North four degrees
East thirty six perches and five tenth to a hickory bush, thence by land of
George Teegardner South seventy two degrees West seventy two perches to a
Spanish oak, North seventy degrees and a half West eight perches and eight
tenth to a maple, thence by land of Edward Burson South thirty degrees West
one hundred and twenty nine perches to a post, thence by land of James
Blackledge South twenty four degrees East nine perches and five tenths to a
white oak, South forty six degrees and three quarters East one hundred and
seventy five, to the place of beginning, containing one hundred and thirty
nine acres of land and the allowance of six percent for roads etc,
And also all trees woods ways water-courses profits advantages and
appurtenances whatsoever belonging or in any wise appertaining and reversions
and remainders, rents, issues and profits of the said premises and every part
thereof,
To have and to hold the said one hundred and thirty nine acres of land
and every part and parcel thereof with the appurtenances unto the said Thomas
Hughes his heirs and assigns to the only proper use and behoof of the said
Thomas Hughes his heirs and assigns forever,
And the said Mary Miller, and Adam Miller and his wife Sarah, and
Anthony Miller and Elizabeth his wife for themselves etc shall and will
warrant and forever defend by these presents,
In witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals the day and

wife and Anthony Miller and Elizabeth his wife, personally before me the
Subscriber one of the Commonwealth's Justices of the peace in and for said
County and acknowledged the above Deed of conveyance to be their act and deed
for the use above mentioned and desires that the same may be recorded as such,
their wives being examined according to law. As witness my hand and seal the

This Indenture made this fourteenth day of December in the year of our
Lord Eighteen hundred and eleven between Edward Burson and Elizabeth Burson
his wife of Greene County and State of Pennsylvania of the one part and Mary
Miller of the same place of the other part,
Witnesseth, that said Edward Burson and Elizabeth his wife for in
consideration of the sum of two hundred dollars to them paid in hand the
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged they the said Edward Burson and
Elizabeth his wife hath granted bargained sold and by these present doth grant
bargain and sell a part of a tract of land called the Dispute situated in
Greene County and Jefferson township State of Pennsylvania patented unto the
said Thomas Hughes being intrusted for the heirs of Nathan Pryor deceased 21
day of October one thousand eight hundred and five,
Beginning at a hickory thence by land of Edward Burson South Forty four
degrees thirty four perches to a black oak, thence by land of Edward Burson
North twenty nine degrees and a half West five perches to a white oak, thence
by land of Edward Burson South sixty eight degrees West thirty nine perches to
a White oak, thence by land of Charity Iames North fifty one degrees West
thirty four perches and seven tenths to a black oak, thence by land of James
Rush's North thirty five perches five tenths to a post, thence by land of
Christopher Cox North forty eight degrees forty three perches to a post,
thence by lands of Edward Burson forty eight degrees forty three perches to a
post, thence by lands of Edward Burson forty eight degrees East seventy six
perches to the big road to the place of beginning containing twenty seven
acres and twenty three perches and the allowance of six percent for roads etc
also all advantages appertainances hereunto belonging or in any wise
appertaining and the reversions and remainders rents issues and profits of the
said premises and every part hereof,
To have and to hold the said twenty seven acres and twenty three perches
and every part and parcel thereof with the appurtainces unto said Mary Miller
heirs and assigns to the only use behoof of the said Mary Miler her heirs and
assigns forever and the said Edward Burson and Elizabeth Burson his wife for
themselves and their heirs the said piece twenty seven acres and twenty three
perches of land and premises unto the said Mary Miller for her heirs and
assigns shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents.
In witness whereof, we have hereunto set our hands and seals the date
