Greene County Pennsylvania Deed 2-638 1/2, 17 Aug 1796
This agreement witnesseth that I, Abraham Miller of Washington County,
Cumberland township and State of Pensylvaina, have firmly sold unto Danill
Miller the said State, County, and township, fifty acres of land part of the
tract of the said Abraham Miller's for the consideration of twenty pounds
lawful money of the State of Pensylvaina to him his heirs administrators or
assigns. The same to be paid as follows:
Ten pounds the first day of May 1796, and the outher the first day of May
1797. And I, Danill Miller do bind myself my heirs administrators or assigns
well and tryly to pay according to the date above, the just payments as they
are stated.
And the said Abraham Miller his heirs or assigns shall on the recept of
the first payment make unto Danill Miller a legal Deed of Conveyance of the
said fifty acres of land free from all incumberances. And for the true
performance of this mutal Agreement we bind ourselves our heirs and assigns in
the just sum of one hundred pounds lawfull money of Pensylvania.
Wittness our hands and seals this seventeenth day of August one thousand
seven hundred and ninty six. Abraham Miller. Daniel Miller.

Be it remembered that on the twenty first day of April in the year of
our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twelve personally came into the Court
of Common Pleas in and for the County aforesaid, Andrew Wise and on his solemn
Affirmation says that he verily believes the signatures Robert Worster as a
Witness, and Abraham Miller as a party, to the within Articles of Agreement,
to be the respective hand writing of the said Robert Worster, and of Abraham
Miller (since deceased), and of which proof the said Court approves as
sufficient.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my and affixed the seal of the

This Indenture made the twentieth day of March in the year of our Lord
one thousand eight hundred by Robert Fulton and Martha Fulton his wife of
Mortan township Greene County and State of Pennsylvania of the one part and
Daniel Miller of the said County and State, Wittneseth
That the said Robert and Martha Fulton for and in consideration of the
sum of Two hundred and twenty five pounds current money of said state to us in
hand paid by the said Daniel Miller before the sealing and delivering these
presents, the receipt of which sum we do hereby acknowledge and to be
therewith fully satisfied, have granted bargained sold alienated enfeoffed and
confirmed, and do by these presents doth grant bargain sell alienate and
confirm unto the said Daniel Miller his heirs and assigns forever a certain
tract or parcel of land Messuage and Improvements situated on Casteel Run a
branch of the south fork of Fen mile Creek in said County, Beginning at a
dogwood thence by land of John Fulton Junior North six degrees West one
hundred and twenty one perches to a Post between a Hickory and White Oak
thence by vacant land South sixty six degrees East ninety perches to stones,
thence by land of Robert Boyd South fifty perches to a Post, and South fifteen
degrees West thirty perches to a heap of stones, South forty five degrees West
eleven perches to a Sugar tree, thence by land of John and Philip Young South
eighteen degrees West one hundred and fifty six perches to a post, thence by
land of John M Down North eighty degrees West forty nine perches to a Bush,
thence by land of said John Fulton Junior North twelve degrees East one
hundred and fifty seven perches to the place of beginning, containing ninety
six acres and a half of land with allowances of six percent for Roads etc be
the same more or less, the above described premesis being part of a certain
Tract of land called Taylor Green granted by this Commonwealth unto John
Lawrly by Patent the sixty day of June one thousand seven hundred and ninety
four and two hundred and thirteen acres of the aforesaid tract called Taylor
Greene have been conveyed by deed the thirteenth day of September in the year
of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety five by the said John Lowry
and Mary his wife unto John Fulton Junior as appears of record in the
Register's office in said County, and the above described premises contains
ninety six acres and a half etc being part of the above mentioned two hundred
and thirteen acres and conveyed by John Fulton Junior and Isabel his wife to
the above named Robert Fulton as appears by their Deed recorded the third day
of this present Month in the Registers office in said County. For him the
said Daniel Miller his heirs and assigns said bargained and described premesis
with all its rights members and appurtenances every part and parcel thereof to
have and to hold for ever to the only purposes and behoof of him the said
Daniel Miller his heirs and assigns (illeg) the said Robert and Martha Fulton
against ourselves and our heirs and assigns all manner of person and persons
whatsoever claiming anything in the said bargained premesis and appurtenances
by for from or under (illeg) anywise whatsoever shall and will warrant and
forever defend unto the Daniel Miller his heirs assigns. In Witness whereof
we the said Robert and Martha Fulton have to these presents our hand and seal

Greene County Pennsylvania Deed 2-639, 14 Mar 1803
A memorandum of an Agreement made this 14 day of March 1803. Between
Daniel Miller of the one part and Joseph Miller of the other part the said
Daniel Miller doth agree to sell fifty fifty accres of land to the said Joseph
Miller adjoining Orphant Children of Nathan Pryer deceased and outhers the
said Joseph Miller doth agree to give the said Daniel Miller five pounds per
acre for said place tha payments to be made for said place is on this wise in
two years after this date tha said Joseph Miller is to pay to Daniel Miller
twenty pounds in Gold or Silver for said place and tha year following twenty
pounds more in the same way and twenty pounds yearly until such time as tha
whole is paid up and tha said Joseph Miller is to be allow'd seventy two
pounds ten shillenz in the lasts payments it being a Legacy left to him by his
Father deceased, tha said Daniel Miller is to give to tha said Joseph Miller a
clear and sufficient Deead at tha expiration of tha last paymt, and Joseph
Miller is to sel tha place to no other person but Daniel Miller if he sees
proper to take it at the same prise that he sold for further he is to pay for
nessary Build done on said place and Joseph Miller is to have full and
passable posssion against tha first day of April next. And to confirm this
memorandum to be agreeable to both us we both do hereby set our hands and

This Indenture made the tenth day of March in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and four between Daniel Miller of the County of Greene
in the State of Pennsylvania, Yoeman, and Lidia his wife of the one part, and
Frederick Holtzapple of the County and State aforesaid Yoeman of the other
part,
Witnesseth that the said Daniel Miller and Lidia his wife for and in
consideration of the sum of two hundred and twenty five pounds to them in hand
paid by the said Frederick Holtzapple at and before the ensealing and
delivering thereof, the receipt whereof they do hereby acknowledge, and
thereof acquit and forever discharge the said Frederick Holtzapple his heirs
executors and administrators, by these presents granted, bargained, sold,
aliened, enfeoffed, released and confirmed, and by these presents do grant,
bargain, sell, alien, enfeoff, release and confirm unto the said Frederick
Holtzapple and to his heirs and assigns all that messuage and tract of land
situate and being on Casteel Run a branch of the South fork of ten mile Creek
in said County,
Beginning at an Iron wood thence by land of John Fulton Jr North six
degrees West one hundred and twenty one perches to a post between a hickory
and a white oak, then by vacant land South sixty six degrees East ninety
perches to Stones, thence by land of Robert Boyd South fifty perches to a
post, thence South fifteen degrees West thirty perches to a heap of stone,
then South forty five degrees West eleven perches to a Sugar tree, thence by
land of John and Philip Young South eighteen degrees West one hundred and
fifty six perches to a post, thence by land of John McKown North eighty
degrees West forth nine perches to a Bush, thence by land of said John Fulton
Jr North twelve degrees East one hundred and fifty seven perches to the place
of beginning, containing ninety six acres and a half of land with allowance of
six per cent for roads etc, be the same more or less the above described
premises being part of a certain tract of land called Taylor's Green, granted
by this Commonwealth unto John Lowry by Patent the sixth day of June one
thousand seven hundred and ninety four, and two hundred and thirteen acres of
the aforesaid tract called Taylor's Green have been conveyed by deed the
thirteenth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred
and ninety five by the said John Lowry and Mary his wife unto John Fulton Jr
as appears of record in the Register's office in said County and the above
described premises containing ninety six acres and a half etc being part of
the above mentioned two hundred and thirteen acres and conveyed by John
Fulton Jr and Isabel his wife unto Robert Fulton etc as appears by their deed
recorded the third day of March 1800 in the Register's office in said County
then conveyed by the said Robert Fulton and Martha his wife to Daniel Miller
by deed dated the twentieth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand
eight hundred, for him the said Frederick Holtzapple his heirs and assigns,
together with all and singular other the houses, out-houses, buildings, barns,
stables, ways, woods, waters, watercourses, rights, liberties, privileges,
hereditaments and appurtanences whatsoever thereunto belonging or in any wise
appertaining, and the reversions and remainders, rents, issues and profits
thereof, and also all the estate, right, title, interest, property, claim and
demand whatsoever of them the said Daniel Miller and Lidia his wife, in law or
equity, or otherwise howsoever, of, in, to, or out of the same, and that the
said Daniel Miller and Lidia his wife, their heirs, executors, or
administrators, do warrant and forever defend against all manner of persons
whatsoever may claim any thing in the premises aforesaid unto the said
Frederick Holtzapple his heirs and assigns,
To have and to hold the said messuage or tenement and tract of ninety
six acres and a half of land hereditaments and premises herby granted, or
mentioned or intended so to be with the appurtenances unto the said Frederick
Holtzapple his heirs and assigns to the only proper use and behoof of the said
Frederick Holtzapple his heirs and assigns forever,
In witness whereof the said Daniel Miller and Lidia his wife have to
these presents set their hand and seals the day and year first above written.
