held by some to have been 2nd Lord Dalkeith (though it is doubtful any such Barony was ever created) [Ref: CP IX p286]

became insane, and was put under curatory 22 May 1441 [Ref: Burke Peerage p1428]

(his insanity) circumstance which seems to have been taken advantage of by his brothers and stepmother to acquire rights prejudicial to his infant son [Ref: Burke Peerage p1428]
