Ghevond (middle 8th century) speaks of three brothers, Dawith, Grigor, and Mousegh; Dawith and Grigor sons of Smbat; this would tend to separate them from their brother, Moushegh son of Hrahat. But in re-translating the works of Ghevond, Toumanoff takes this back. [Ref: Settipani LGA p50]

genealogy of Hrahat is unknown. Onomastics shows him related directly to the Mamikonian princes of the preceeding generation, Moushegh, Hamazasp, and Grigor, sons of Dawith. We know that Hamazasp left three sons when he died c.660, two of which were Moushegh and Artavazd; third unknown, but may have been Hrahat. Chronologically, more likely Hrahat grandson of Hamazasp, rather than son, and if so, likely son of Moushegh III. [Ref: Settipani LGA p50]
