Presbyterian, pastor of New-Salem Freeport, Ohio, church, Presbytery of Pittsburg, St. Clairsville. Attended public schools, then the National Normal University, Lebanon, OH, then entered Franklin College, New Athens,OH. Entered the Western Theological Seminary, Allegheny, PA, graduating in class of 1900; licensed by Allegheny Presbytery in the spring of 1899; ordained by Redstone Presbytery, fall of 1900; pator four years at Mt.
