----- Will dated 29 Apr 1944, pro 13 Mar 1953, recorded in Book Q page 275:
I, George W Bledsoe in the County of Fayette and State of Illinois being of sound mind and memory, do therefore, make, ordain, publish and declare this to be my Last Will and Testament.
First: I order and direct that my Executors hereinafter named, pay all my ust debts and funeral expenses as soon after my decease as conveniently may be.
Second: After payment of such funeral expenses and debts, I give, devise and bequeath
Unto my beloved wife Mary Effie Bledsoe, My residence Property Located on Lots Number Seven and the North Half of Lot Number Ten in Block number Thirty two, In the City of St Elmo, Ill. Also I bequeath my New Your Life Insurance Policy to Marry Efie Bledsoe, my wife, as Beneficiary. Also all House hold goods and furnishings, Pictures that might be in our home at the time of my death, also Mary Effie Bledsoe my wife shall also have the Automible, we now own or might own in the future.
Also I bequeath to Mary Effie Bledsoe all War bonds that may be registered in both our names. Also I bequeath to Mary Efie Bledsoe all of my Renewal Commissions due me from Great West Life Insurance Co.
Further I direct that my Executors shall sell at Public or Private sale all of my stock in Fayette County Bank of St Elmo Ill. As soon as conditions well warrant, and when sold Divide the proceeds of such sale among my heairs, Erma Gibbons, of St Vandalia Ill, and My Son Geo Myron Bledsoe, of Saginaw Mich. And the children of My Deceased Daughter Dorris Dale of St Louis, Mo. And the children of my Deceased Daughter Letna Gibbons of St Elmo Ill, Such Children to receive what would be their Mothers Part.
Further it is my will that my Farm of One Hundred Twenty Eight acres more or less Located in Effingham County & described as follows- The East half of the North East quarter of Section Thirteen, Township Eight North Range Four East of the 3rd P M Also The South West Qarter of the North West quarter of Section Seventeen Township Eight North Range Five East All in Effingham Co. State of Illinois Shall and is hereby bequeathed to my beloved Wife Marry Effie Bledsoe, in Trust, and I do hereby appoint her as Trustee to hold Title, to same until such time as she and her Co Executrix shall see fit to sell the same, and when sold the Proceeds of such sale, be divided among my Heris as follows- Share and share alike, One Fourth to Erma Gibbons, and One Fourth to Myron Bledsoe, and one fourth to Dorothy Dale, being the Only Heir of my Deceased Daughter Dorris Dale. And one Fourth to Doris Gibbons, Leon Gibbons, and Marget Gibbons, being the heirs of my Deceased Daughter Letha Gibbons. Such children to receive what would be their mothers portion.
It is my will that My Wife Marry Effie Bledsoe shall have Right and Authority to sell the above Farm land without any Consent of Court, and distribute the proceeds as above directed.
I also Direct that my Executors shall serve without Bond.
Lastly: I make, constitute and appoint My Wife Mary Effie Bledsoe and My Daughter Erma Gibbons to be Executors of this, my Last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former Wills by me made.
In Witness thereof, I have hereto subscribed my name and affixed my seal, the 29th day of April, in the year of our Lord One Thousand Nine Hundred and Forty Four.

This Instrument was on the day of the date hereof signed, published and declared by the said Testator, Geo W Bledsoe to be his last Will and Testament in presence of us and at his request we have subscribed our names thereto as witnesses, in his presence and in the presence of each other.
