Research Notes:
presented by Josephus as "always boasting of her pedigree." She claimed
to descend from Timon, i.e. the Macedonians, in the paternal line and
maternally from the Achaemenid kings of Persia. Mother was possibly a
daughter of Tigranes (#51696), who woul dhave had equal status with the
daughter who married Mithrades, of Media Atropatene and carried a claim to
Armenia to them. [Ref: Ford Mommaerts 4/13/2004]
