In the Name of God Amen.
I Jacob Hecker of the Township of Lebanon in the County of Lancaster and
Province of Pennsylvania Yoeman being sick and very weak in Body but of Sound
and Disposing mind Memory and Understanding do make and ordain this my Lasst
Will and Testamtnt in manner and form following, that is to Say Principally
and First of all I Recommend my Soul into the hands of God Hoping through the
Merits and ___ ____ of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for forgiving of my
Sins and an happy Admission into the Regines of Blis and Immortality and my
Body I commend to the Earh therein to be buried at the Discretion of my
Executor hereinafter Named and to such worldly Estate as it hath pleased my
Heavenly Father to bestow me with I give devise and bequeath the Same as
follows, to wit,
Impremis I will and desire that all my just debts and Funeral Charges and
Expense be paid and satisfied of. It is also my will that I give and
bequeath unto my Son Michael the sum of Five Shillings Sterling for his first
Birth Right or for his first Portion and afterward it is my will that my Son
Michael and Anna Maria Charlotte and Barbara Each of them to receive from my
Executor hereafter named one Shilling Sterling for my Real and Personal Estate
and no more
Three to the ___ of my beloved wife Agnes and Forder(?) I Impower my
Executr Hereafter named to have full form and Authority to Sell Either by
Public or private Sale and dispose of all my Lots and lands in or Near Lebanon
Town for the best price that Can be gotten to any Person or Persons that are
willing to purchase the Same and I hereby Impower my said Executor or the
Survivor of them to give such Deed or Deeds for the same as will vest a Fee
Simple Estate in the purchaser thereof.
Item I give and Bequeath unto my Beloved wife Agnes all the Remainder and
Resi__ of my whole or whole Real and Personal Estate to my beloved wife Agnes
as long as she lives and after her death my Real and Personal Estate shall be
equably Divided unto my forementioned children or their heirs.
And Lastly I Nominate and appoint my Loving Friend John Resly ad my Friend
Godfried Engleberner Executors of this my last Will and Testament, hereby
Revoking and making null and Void all former will or wills by me heretofore
made, Declaring this and no other to be and Contain my Last Will and
Testament.
In Witness whereof I the said Jacob Hecker have to this my Last Will and
___ my hand and seal this Twenty Fifth day of March in the year of our Lord
One Thousand Seven hundred Seventy Five.

Heckert this to be his Last Will and Testament in the presence of us who were
present at the signing thereof Jacob Weaver, Casper Snevely, ___ ___.
Lancaster County SS. On the Fifteenth day of April Anno Domini 1775 Before
me the Subscriber Personally appeared the above named Jacob Weaver and Casper
Snevely two of the Subscribing Witnesses to the above and within with the said
Casper Snavely on his Solemn according to law The said Jacob Weaver his
Corporal Oath did depose and say that they were present and Saw and heard
Jacob Heckert the Testator within Named Sign Seal Publish Pronounce and
Declare the above and within writing as and for his Last Will and Testament
and that at the time during thereof he was of Sound Mind Memory and
Understanding to the best of their knowledge Observation and Belief. Jowd

Be it rembered that on the Fifteenth day of April Anno Domini 1775 the Last
Will and Testament of Jacob Hecker late of Lebanon Township in the County of
Lancaster Yoeman deceased was proved in due form of Law and Letters Testament
were issued to John Resly and Golford Eighalbermer, the two Executors therein
named, they being first duly Qualified well and truly to Administer for the
estate of the Testator and to Exhibit a true and perfect Inventory thereof
into the Register Office at Lancaster on or before the fifteenth day of May
and to render a true and just Account of their Administration when thereto
Lawfully required. Given under the Seal of the said Office, Edw Shippen, DYR.
