Welsh annals refer to Trahearn ap Caradog as a cousin of Bleddyn ap Cynfyn (#25050), which has led to speculation that Trahearn's mother was perhaps a sister of Cynfyn ap Gwerystan (#25052). Although we can be reasonable certain that Trahearn and Bleddyn were cousins, this information is not enough to nail down the precise relationship [Ref: Stewart Baldwin SGM 7/27/1997]
