Research Notes:
first record in Bures Saint Mary, Suffolk, is his marriage to Susann Warren; being no other records of the French family in Bures Saint Mary for the rest of the 16th century, it seems certain that he came from some neighboring village [Ref: Threlfall 50GMCol p161]

c1585: either mvoed from Bures Saint Mary to Assington, or changed their church affiliations [Ref: Threlfall 50GMCol p161]

probably other children, born in 1589, 1591, 1593, and 1598, when no Assington records survive [Ref: Threlfall 50GMCol p163]
