1634: immigrated, with sister Dorcas, to be indentured to the Winthrops [Ref: FrenchRL FRENCH p3]

may have been a servant n household of John Winthrop Jr for a time, but otherwise left no record in New England [Ref: Anderson GreatMigrationI p705]

probably came over with her sister Dorcas in 1634, and served four years in the family of John Winthrop Jr at Ipswich [Ref: Davis WILDES p64, Linzee PARKER-RUGGLES p426]

in letter from Thomas Gostlin to Winthrop, Jr, from Groton, Jun 11 1633, in regard to sending over a maid - "se is one of the goodman Frenches daughters of Assington. I have sent 2 of them, one for your father and the other for you. Your father must take his choice. The eldest must serve for 3 yeeres, and the youngest 4... pray let them be delt as well with all as any of the same quality." [Ref: Davis WILDES p63]
