Aubigne and Landal descended through William (eldest son of Ralph II) through a number(?) of Ralphs to William, whose only child Mahet was the last of the line; this descent obviates the necessity to invent a William twin of Ralph IV, the son of Elias (ob 1305) in CP IV p96(c) [Ref: Daykin Daubeney p295]
