This deed made this nineteenth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty seven between James Reed and Susannah his wife of the first part and William Reed of the other part, all of the County of Ohio and State of Virginia, Witnesseth that in consideration of two thousand dollars the said James Reed and Susannah his wife do grant with general warranty unto the said William Reed all of the following described tract of land, situated on the waters of Castlemans Run in the County of Ohio and State aforesaid and bounded as follows (to wit) Beginning at a large white oak corner to other land of James Reed, thence North seven and fourth degrees east one hundred and forty five and 5/10 perches to a stone corner to Hanson Murray, thence north sixty degrees west thirty perches to a white walnut corner to Edward Blayney, thence south fifty degrees west one hundred and seventy perches to a post thence south sixty six and three fourth degrees east one hundred and fifty nine and two tenth perches to the beginning, containing eighty three and one half acres. The State of Ohio, Morrow County, SS. On the 11th day of December, A.D. 1860, before the subscriber a Justice of the Peace within and for said County, personally appeared Charles Blayney and Mary Jane Blayney who signed and sealed the foregoing deed and acknowledged the signing and sealing thereof to be their act and deed for the purposes therein expressed. And the said Mary Jane Blayney wife of the said Charles Blayney being by me examined separate and apart from her said husband and the contents of sai deed being fully made known to her by reading the same in her presence, she did declare upon such separate examination that she did voluntarily sign seal and acknowledge the same, and that she is still satisfied therewith. This deed made the 31 day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty four between George Gibson and Sarah his wife of the first part and William Reed of the second part all of Ohio County West Virginia Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred dollars to them in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged do by these presents grant with general warrant unto the said party of the second part all the following described lot of land Situate on the waters of Castlemans Run in the County and State aforesaid bounded as follows, viz, Beginning at a Stone thence by lands of Charles Blayney South eighty and one half degrees East twenty one and five tenth poles to a stone thence by land of James Reed South forty two and one half degrees west twelve perches to a stone thence South thirty three and three fourth degrees west nine and one half perches to a white oak and thence South eighteen and one half degrees west twelve and nine tenth perches to a stone in the road thence by other lands of said Gibson South twelve and one half degrees west twenty six and one half perches to a stone, thence North eighty nine and one quarter degrees west seven and three tenth perches to a stone thence by lands of said William Reed north nine and one half degrees east fifty nine perches to the place of beginning, containing three acres and one hundred and fifty two perches. This Indenture made the Twenty Ninth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and Seventy Five between James Reed of the Borough of West Alexander County of Washington and State of Pennsylvania of the first part and William Reed of the County of Ohio and State of West Virginia of the other part, Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of forty five hundred and seventy five dollars lawful money of the United States of America unto him well and truly paid by the said party of the second part at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted, bargained, sold, aliened, enfeoffed, released, conveyed, and confirmed, and by tehse presents do grant, bargain, sell, alien, enfeoff, release, convey, and confirm unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns all that certain tract or parcel of land situate in Liberty Township County of Ohio and State of West Virginia, and bounded and described as follows, Beginning at a red oak corner to Andrew Yates and with his line North thirty eight degrees East eight perches to a post, thence South seventy one and one half degrees East seventeen perches to a luth(?) corner to William Rice and with his lien North seventy seven and three fourth degrees East Seventy seven perches to a large white oak corner to the land of said William Reed and with his line North sixty six and three fourth degrees West one hundred and fifty nine and two tenth perches to a post in Edward Blaneys line, and with the same South fifty six degrees West eighty nine and five tenth perches to a stone, thence South sixty three degrees east one hundred and eighty three perches to the place of beginning, Containing ninety one acres one quarter and thirty six perches adjoining lands of William Moore on the west Andrew Yates on the South William Rice on the East William Reed on the North East and Edward Blaney on the North west, Together with all and singular the buildings improvements ways waters water courses rights liberties privileges hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining and the reversions and remainders rents issues and profits thereof and all the estate rights title interest property claim and demand whatsoever of the said parties of the first part in law equity or therwise howsoever of in and to the same, and every part thereof to have and to hold the said tract of land before descried hereditaments and premises hereby granted or mentioned and intended so to be, with the appurtenances unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns to and for the only proper use and behoof of the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever, And the said James Reed the said party of the first part, for himself his heirs executor and administrators do by these presents covenant grant and agree to and with the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns that he the said party of the first part his heirs all and singular the hereditaments and premises herein above described and granted or mentioned and intended so to be with the appurtenances unto the said party of the second part and his heirs and assigns against him the said party of the first part and his heirs and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof shall and will warrant and forever defend.
