Research Notes:
generally considered to have been the daughter of Sir William St Clair of Roslin, but was more probably the sister of Sir William [Ref: CP I p153]

styled "Margarete de Sancto Claro comitisse de Anegus" in 1363 when she was granted 20 pounds sterling annually from the duties of Colley by King David II, which had formerly been enjoyed (in 1342) by her first husband [Ref: Thompson CharlesII v23-76]
