Know all men by these presents that as John Stephenson and Mary his wife John M Orr and Martha his wife James Orr and Elizabeth his wife William Orr and Elizabeth his wife David Branaman and Anne his wife Mary Jane Drake Joseph Carlan and Margaret Jane his wife and William Carlan and Elizabeth his wife for and in consideration of the sum of Five hundred dollars to them in hand paid by William Orr (son of John M Orr) the receipt where of is hereby acknowledge and thereof forever against and discharge the said William Orr, have granted bargained sold aliened released and confirmed and by these presets do grant bargain sell alien release and confirm unto the said William Orr his heirs and assigns all that certain tract of land situate in Springfield Township Mercer County Pennsylvania bounded and described as follows viz, North by land of Kenny Donelly and Robert Orr's heirs, East by land of John Stephenson, South by land of John M Orr and Thomas Palmer and West by Thomas Palmer Containing one hundred acres more or less which includes the land late owned by William Orr deceased the land conveyed by Stephenson to Elias Orr together with all and singular the improvements ways woods waters rights liberties privileges hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in any way appurtaining To have and to hold the premises hereditaments and apurtenances hereby granted or mentioned and intended so to be unto him the said William Orr his heirs and assigns to the only proper use and benefit and behoof of the said William Orr his heirs and assigns forever. They the said Mary Stephensin, Martha Orr, Margaret Orr, Elizabeth wife of Wm Orr Jane Brenaman Margaret J Carlan and Elizabeth Carlan all being of full age the full contents of said deed by me first made known to them, and by me examined severally separate and apart from their respective husbands all and each for herself did declare that they and each for herself did sign seal and deliver the said deed freely of their own will and accord voluntarily and without coercion or compulsion of their said husbands or of any other person. This Indenture made the first day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty nine Between Henry Donley and Margaret Donley his wife of Springfield Township Mercer County Pennsylvania of the first part and William Orr of Springfield Township Mercer County Pennsylvania of the second part. Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and sixty six and 83/100 dollars lawful money of the United States of America unto them well and truly paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged by the said parties of the second part at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents have granted bargained sold aliened enfeoffed released conveyed and confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain sell alien enfeoff release convey and confirm unto the said party of the second party his heirs and assigns all that certain piece or parcel of land situated in said township of Springfield County of Mercer and State of Pennsylvania described as follows, Commencing at the South West corner at a post thence North 1/2 degree East twenty nine perches to a post thence South 89 1/2 degrees East thirty seven and nine tenth perches to a post thence South 82 degrees East twenty nine 8/10 perches to a post thence North 89 1/2 West forth two perches to the place of beginning Containing seven acres and thirty eight and five perches strict measure and bounded North by land of Henry Donley East by land of Hiram Orr sold to him by said Donley South by land of Hiram Orr and West by land of William Orr and being part of the farm purchased by said Henry Donley from Frederick Crowshom, Together with all and singular the said lands improvements ways waters water courses rights liberties privileges hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in any sense appurtaining and the reversions and remainders rents issues and profits thereof and all the estate right title interest property claim and demand whatsoever of the said parties of the first part in law equity or otherwise howsoever of in to or out of the same or any part thereof, To Have and To Hold the said thirty seven acres and thirty eight and five tenth perches hereditaments and appurtenances and premises hereby granted or mentioned and intended so to be unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns, to and for the only proper use and behoof of the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever, and Henry Donley and Margaret Donley the said parties of the first part their heirs executors and administrators do by these presents covenant and agree to and with the said party his heirs and assigns that they the said parties of the first part and their heirs all and singular the hereditaments and premises herein above described and granted or mentioned and intended so to be with the appurtenenances unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns against them the said parties of the first part and their heirs and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever lawfully claims or is to claim the same or any part thereof shall and will warrant and forever defend. State of Pennsylvania, County of Mercer SS: On the first day of April Anno Domini 1859 before me a Justice of the Peace within and for said County and State personally came the above named Henry Donley and Margaret Donley his wife and acknowledged the above Indenture to be their act and deed and desired that the same might be recorded as such. She the said Margaret being of full age and by me examined separate and apart from her said husband and the contents of the said Indenture being first made fully known to her declared that she did of her own free will and accord sign and seal and as her own act and deed deliver the same without any coercion or compulsion of her said husband. This indenture made the day of in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty between William Orr and Elizabeth his wife of the Township of Springfield County of Mercer and State of Pennsylvania of the one part and Heiram Orr of the Township County and State aforesaid of the second part, Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of eight hundred and forty dollars lawful money of the United States of America unto them well and truly paid by the said party of the second part at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have granted bargained sold aliened enfeoffed released conveyed and confirmed and by these presents to grant bargain sell alien enfeoff release convey and confirm unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns all that certain piece or parcel of land Situate lying or being in the Township of Springfield County of Mercer and State of Pennsylvania Bounded and described as follows, to wit, Commencing at a stone on the South East corner, thence by land of Stephenson and Orr North eighty nine degrees West sixty seven and four tenth perches to a post, thence by land of Thomas Palmer North one degree East thirty and one tenth perches to a post, thence by land of same North eighty nine degrees West fifteen and five tenth perches to a post, thence by land of the said William Orr North one half degree East thirty eight and seven tenth perches to a post, thence by land of same North eighty nine and one half degrees West five perches to a post, thence by land of same North one half degree East twenty six and eight tenth perches to a post, thence by land of William Orr South eighty nine and one half degree East forty two and six tenth perches to a post in center of Road, thence along the center of said Road South thirty seven degrees East fourteen perches to a post, thence along the center of said Road South fifty seven and one half degrees East forty five perches to a post in said Road, thence by land of Black & Stevenson South sixty one and four tenth perches to the place of beginning, Containing forty two and one half acres to be the same more or less, A part of said above described land being a part of a larger tract formerly owned by William Orr decd, and the balance of the above described land formerly owned by John Stevenson and the whole conveyed to William Orr one of the parties of the present Indenture by Deed bearing date February the 2nd AD 1858 reference thereunto had will more fully and at large appear, Together with all and Singular the buildings improvements ways waters water courses rights liberties privileges hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining and the reversions and remainders rents issues and profits thereof and all the estate rights with in-trust property claim and demand whatsoever of the said parties of the first part in law equity or otherwise howsoever of in and to the same and every part thereof, To Have and To Hold the same described premises containing forty two acres one half acre be the same more or less together with the hereditaments and premises hereby granted or mentioned and intended so to be with the appurtenances unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns to and for the only proper use and behoof of the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever, And William Orr and Elizabeth his wife the said parties of the first part for themselves their heirs executors and administrators do by these presents covenant grant and agree to and with the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns that we the said parties of the first part and our heirs all and singular the hereditaments and premises herein above described and granted or mentioned and intended so to be with the appurtenances unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns against us the said parties of the first part and our heirs and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof shall and will Warrant and forever Defend.
