1599: inherited half of father's goods, and the hundred-acre farm in Holme-on-Spalding-Moor which had been bought in 1592. [Ref: CrosbyED CROSBY p20]

abt 1639: came to New England, and settled initially in Cambridge [Ref: Anderson GreatMigrationII v2p235]

date of arrival in America is uncertain, having been preceded by his son Simon and grandson Thomas. Located first in Cambridge, then moved to Rowley [Ref: CrosbyAH CROSBY p8]
