In the name of God, Amen
I, the undersigned Heinrich Reichelderfer in Albany Twp, County of Berks and State of Pennsylvania, though frail and ill, am in complete possession of mind and memory and judegement, as in healthy days, for which I am deeply grateful to God, considering that we all have to die and that the time of our passing is uncertain and that man at all times should be prepared to leave this world--and herewith declaring this to be my last Will and Testament, to wit-
I commend my immortal soul into the hands of my God and his eternal grace, and my body to the earth, which my hereafter named executix shall have buried in a Christian manner.
As to worldly possessions consisting of a farm in Albany Twp, said County, I am leaving it to my beloved wife, Maria, so she can continue to farm the land as long as she bears my name, and try to raise our dear children in a Christian way. Should she remarry, the land shall then be sold and divided in equal parts amony my children. I appoint my beloved wife Maria as executrix. She shall sell the things she does not need and pay the debts and place the rest of the money on interest. I am mentioning again that my beloved wife may continue to live on my land as long as she bears my name. After such date the land shall be sold and the other articles my beloved wife Maria has been using. Should it the case that the land cannot be sold as long as my wife bears my name, after such date then it shall be rented until all my children are of age, it shall then be sold and divided in equal parts among my children except that one-third part will go to my beloved wife Maria. I am signing this my last Will and Testament the 22nd day of November 1820. heinrich Reichelderfer.
