1240: granted the Barony of Richmond [Ref: Sanders Baronies p141]

1242: was given temporary control of Barony of Pevensey, and in 1246 was granted the fief in perpetuity [Ref: Sanders Baronies p137]

was to hold the honour of Pevensey by the service of 2 knights' fees [Ref: Sanders Baronies p137(3)]

1259: Peter held undisturbed possession of the Barony of Richmond until 1259, when negotiations began for the marriage of Beatrice, daughter of King Henry III, to John, son of the Duke of Brittany. It was agreed that the duke should have lands in France to the value of the honour of Richmond. Peter saw in the negotiations a threat to his tenure of Richmond. In 1262 he had his position confirmed. The precaution was of little value, for in 1264 Peter lost control of the honour [Ref: Sanders Baronies p141]

1262: granted certain lands of the honour of Richmond to the Lord Edward, who in return granted the honour of Hastings [Ref: Sanders Baronies p141(2)]

1263-1268: Count of Savoy [Ref: Tapsell Dynasties p240]

1268: honour of Pevensey passed to Lord Edward, and in the following year Edward granted the lands to his mother Eleanor of Provence [Ref: Sanders Baronies p137]
