abt 1195-1205: William Vavasour gave to Salley Abbey land in Wilsingtun (Oswton, near Tadcaster) and Oxton, which he bought from Malger, his son, and Agnes his wife, daughter of Walter de Denton, for the mill of Hunsflth (Hunsley) and for 30 marks and for half a carucate in Aschwith, etc. He also gave stone at Hazlewood.
