Research Notes:
HICKS Mary Louise (Bowsher) Hicks, age 79, died Thursday, April 22, 2004, in Whetstone Care Center. A graduate of North High, and a member of Delta Theta Tau. Her sunny personality and optimistic outlook will be sadly missed. She is survived by her husband, Robert C. Hicks Sr.; a son, Bob (Cynthia) Hicks Jr.; daughter, Carol (Dennis) Kline; 5 grandchildren, Jenny Osburn, Heather Kline, John, Jordan, and Michael Hicks; and a brother, Harlan Bowsher. Friends may call Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at the SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 North High Street, (1/2 mile south of I-270), where the funeral service will be held Monday, April 26, 2004 at 11:30 a.m. Pastor Glenn Schwerdtfeger will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Maynard Avenue United Methodist Church, 2350 Indianola Ave., Columbus, Ohio 43214. [Ref: Paula Watts 4/10/2008]
