may have previously borne the name Tia [Ref: Dodson Egypt p174]

shown in Augustian Society DFA charts as granddaughter of Tiye-Nefertari and Nebmare Amenhotep II, but there is no known evidence for the linkage. Tiye was daughter of Yuya, Overseer of Horses, High Priest of Min at Akhmim. Yuya's parentage is not certainly known, but possibly son of Yey and Tey. Also a book by Ahmed Osman, "Stranger in the Valley of the Kings" (San Francisco, 1987) claims Yuya was the biblical Joseph. A reasonable guess of Nebmare Amenhotep II's parents is Menkheprure Tuthmosis IV, Pharaoh, and Mutemwia, who was possibly also a daughter of Yey and Tey. [Ref: Chris Bennett SGM 10/23/1995]
