Research Notes:
resided about a mile and a quarter east of the old Meeting-house Common, Marlborough. He owned a good deal of land, and erected and operated a tannery. He served as a lieutenant during "Queen Anne's War" and his dwelling was fortified as a garrison-house. [Ref: Martyn WARD p69]
