they lived at Ripley, Brown Co, OH, which is on the north bank of the Ohio River just a few miles downstream from Maysville, KY, which is on the south bank of the river and where Sarah's uncle, William BYERS, settled in 1794, when he moved his family from Washington, PA [Ref: Bell BYERS-87 p9]
